Anonymous asked: I feel really, really angry at the moment, but also kind of resigned to the fact that my friends just won't accept the privilege that they hold, and won't acknowledge the achievements of feminists. They insist on insulting feminism all the time, and they don't realise that their own lives as they live them are only possible due to feminism. I've been arguing with them all the time, and I just want to either cry or smash something (preferably patriarchy). The main problem is 'Decembrow' which they oppose basically because feminists support it and because "it's weird for women to have monobrows". I've been saying that not everyone wants to be defined by how they look, and that it's making an insensitive generalisation to class everyone as just male or just female, and yeah, this isn't a question, it's just me searching for someone to agree with me.
